  In Chinese calendar 2014 is the Year of the Blue Wooden Horse

Horse is one of Chinese favorite animals. Horse provides a good and quick transportation for people before automobiles. Horse can give people a ride to their destination. Therefore, horse is not only a symbol of traveling, but also a sign of speedy success.

Sinisen Puu Hevosen vuosi alkoi 31. tammikuuta 2014. Puu on elementtinä kiinalaisessa astrologiassa lämmin, antelias ja yhteistyöhaluinen - tämä kertookin elämäniloisesta laajenemishalujen vuodesta, jota onnelliset sattumat värittävät. Vuosi 2014 on siis oiva vuosi matkusteluun ja erilaisiin tapahtumiin.

Alganud aasta on  hiina kalendri järgi Sinise Hobuse aasta. Tulemas on ettearvamatu, kiire, üllatuslike muutuste rohke aasta. See on parim aasta neile, kes liigselt mineviku ega tuleviku pärast ei muretse, oskavad kasutada tänast päeva ja  kiire vooluga kaasa ujuvad. Hobuse aasta on ekstravertsete ja optimistlike inimeste aast.

In the late 1700s in Japan, one of the first books on origami was published with the title, “How to Fold 1,000 Cranes.” The easy-to-follow directions and beautiful end result ensure the continuing popularity of the origami crane. When one thinks of the art of Origami, the crane is the traditional symbol of this art of paper folding.

The crane has long been a symbol in Asian cultures representing good health, longevity, truth and fidelity. The regal, upright carriage of these elegant birds reflects their dignified status as the noble birds most worthy of serving as messengers to the ancient immortals.

 As a result, the origami crane also became a powerful symbol for loyalty, nobility, and beauty. According to Japanese tradition, anyone with the patience and commitment to fold 1,000 paper cranes will be granted their most desired wish, because they have exhibited the cranes’ loyalty and recreated their beauty.

It has been wonderful and memorable year :)
